At Le Grand Large, a true family-friendly campground in Finistère, our services are designed to ensure your stay goes smoothly, from your first cup of coffee in the morning until you return from your hike at the end of the day.

There are plenty of daytime and evening activities in the region. The campground reception desk will provide information on these events (locations, dates, times, ticket sales, etc.).
For RVs, free black water disposal (2 chemical toilets in the sanitary facilities) and gray water disposal in a spacious area designed to facilitate the emptying and refilling of drinking water for RVs

No need to get up early to go shopping: at the campground, our dining options are tailored to your vacation pace. And here’s some good news for the 2026 season: our snack bar has been completely renovated!

Breakfast starting at 7 a.m.: for hikers on the GR34 and early risers setting out to explore the peninsula
Simple, organic, local cuisine: Three themed culinary evenings are offered:
- On Mondays: savory and sweet crêpes are served with a glass of wine,
- Wednesdays: hearty rougaille dishes—sausages and a glass of wine,
- and on Fridays: delicious mussels and fries, served with a glass of wine or a bowl of cider, in a traditional Breton street-food atmosphere; enjoy them in our cozy dining room or take them to go.

And every day at lunchtime and in the evening, seven days a week, we serve simple and delicious dishes: fried chicken, paninis, nuggets, high-quality hamburgers, salads, Breton desserts, …

The perfect way to end your day. Open from April 2 to September 30, our “plank” bar opens right onto the swimming pool terrace: a view of the bay, a cold drink, and the day ends just as it should.

In the cozy adjoining room:

Snacks, candy, and a microwave are available
Freezing of ice blocks, freely accessible and free of charge
Pool and foosball (for a fee) for enthusiasts

Bike rentals at the campground!

The campground offers both regular and electric bicycles—some older but still in good working order for a round trip to Camaret (€5/day), or more athletic and dynamic models (€20–45/day). Rentals are available by the hour or for half a day. Sea kayaks are also available for rent (the seals of Penn-Hir are waiting for you).

Open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., our indoor swimming pool maintains a water temperature of at least 28°C thanks to two heat pumps combined with solar panels. When the weather is nice, the canopy slides open to the side so you can fully enjoy the Breton sunshine, all while taking in the breathtaking view of Camaret Bay.

Services for Athletes and Hikers

Early bird or seasoned athlete? Enjoy breakfast served starting at 7 a.m., as well as sandwiches and drinks to go, designed for GR34 hikers, rock climbers, and kayakers. It’s the perfect way to fuel up before setting out to conquer the peninsula!
